Wines from Navarra offer some of the best value from anywhere in the world, mostly the reds, but also the whites. If you are in any doubt, try this Garnacha Blanca from Bodegas Nekeas. The aromas show apple and lime, but not just the pulp, the rind and the pith too, as well as chalk dust, white rubber, herbal grasses and white flowers. It’s one of those wines that manages to be wonderfully aromatic, yet dry and taut and tangy at the same time. It’s hardly original, but it goes brilliantly with white fish (confirmed to us by several customers). It’s a ‘limited edition’ release to celebrate the producers 25th anniversary. 13.5% alc.
