“Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the winemakers steering Greek wines towards an innovative future and global recognition.” - Decanter
If this doesn’t perk up your senses, then you should probably check your pulse. It’s a zippy blend of two Greek varieties and is delicately aromatic, thanks to the Malagousia, yet with a brightness that’s as dazzling as the Aegean Sea on a summer morning, thanks to the Xinomavro. Early-picked grapes bring freshness and floral overtones, as well as a crisp acidity that would work really well with oysters or a pint of prawns. Crisp like a Muscadet, it’s a wine so fresh it will give you whiplash. 12% alc. Drink now-2026.

Press review (previous vintage):
Decanter: “Original, summery blend of a direct press of Xinomavro (that’s to say a blanc de noir) with about one-third of the white Malagousia. The wines are made separately and blended later. Xinomavro gives the aromatic, exotic Malagousia the crunchiness it lacks. Altogether very appealing. There’s a mouthwatering acidity, with a savoury, mineral texture to add interest. 12% alc. Drink now-2022.” 90 points
