A beautiful, unfortified sweet wine (moelleux) made from Chenin Blanc grapes harvested from three villages along the Layon river: Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Saint-Lambert du Lattay and Saint-Aubin de Luigné. It’s amazing how much a wine that is made entirely from grapes can taste as if it was made entirely from apricots! Drink with salty cheese or sharp desserts, like tarte au citron. 11.5% alc. Smooth and delicate on the palate, this is a seamless, perfectly balanced moelleux with fine, crystalline acidity and fully ripe and sweet, highly elegant and refined fruit.
