A pure Gamay (hence the name ‘Ga-Ga’) from the Jura made by Jean-Francois Ganevat’s partner, Maylis Bernard, at his cellar in Rotalier. Tart raspberry fruit balanced by succulent pomegranate and cherry, overlaid by floral notes of lilac and peony and some earthy, mineral hints. It is fairly concentrated by Jura standards, more like a Morgon Cru in that respect, but perfectly counterpoised by juicy, mouth-watering acidity. 14% alc. Drink now-2030.
