A very light colour, more like a rosé, which isn’t entirely surprising, as it’s a blend of the thin-skinned grape, Pinot Noir, and the white grape, Riesling. Deliciously light and zippy, with notes of bitter lemon, indian tonic, lemon barley water and wild rosehip. That’s pretty much all there is to it. Oh wait… it’s made by Jean-Francois Ganevat’s partner, Maylis Bernard, at his cellar in Rotalier. 11.5% alc. Drink now-2028.
