Quite a light and delicate expression of Nero d'Avola, which initially reminded us of our 'Odd Lot Pinot Noir' on the nose, but the palate leans much more towards Sicily, with notes of tomato skin, loose tea, wild cherry, terracotta dust and a Campari-like bitterness on the finish. That little pinch of tannins suggests that it needs food, nothing fancy, just a pizza with capers and olives or penne all'arrabbiata. 13% alc. Drink now-2026.
