Mallorca has a wealth of indigenous grape varieties and Ca'N Verdura work with some amazing 90-year-old Manto Negro vines, which they farm organically. This is their estate wine, made predominantly from Manto Negro, which is a thin-skinned grape, so it produces pale wines with a bodyweight similar to Pinot Noir. It shows silky flavours of cherry and plum with some pretty floral grace notes and a hint of bay leaf to gives it a Balearic twist. A delicious alternative to red Burgundy or Nebbiolo. 13.5% alc. 50% 6 months in oak. Drink now-2028.
